Spa Strummers name and identity.
Be aware that there is only one SPA STRUMMERS ukulele group. Another group has used a very similar a name in an attempt to mislead the public, with an obvious attempt to plaguerise our name and thereby gain credibility on the back of all our hard work and reputation we have built up over 7 years. Be aware the the upcoming Whitnash Fun Day programme has misleadingly used 2 of our pictures on the front of their programme.
Leamington Spa UkeFest returns to the fabulous Newbold Comyn Arms in 2020 !!
You are cordially invited to the 4th Leamington Ukelele Festival. It is back at the fabulous Newbold Comyn Arms which is the perfect venue, with large public grounds and patio areas.
Free car parks are within a short walk that also serve the nearby Newbold Comyn, Campion Hills parkland and the municipal Leisure Centre. There is a large play area for children. It is only a few minutes walk to Leamington town centre.
The festival will start at 12 noon Saturday. There are 2 main stages outside and 2 inside for evening open mic / mass busk and workshop.
Food and drinks will be available in the Stables Bar. There is also an outside barbeque bar for burgers and hot dogs. A selection of stalls with new and second hand ukuleles, accessories, uke straps, tombola etc.
The day will be filled with ukulele fun, guest artistes, sets from various uke groups / clubs, workshops and open mic / free n 'easy sessions. Have a go in the grand raffle with great prizes including a quality tenor ukulele
Bring your ukes to join in the mass busks. Programmes and songbooks will be available on the day. .
Full PA will be supplied on both stages with sound engineers and stage hands.
Motorhomes and camper vans allowed nearby.
